That’s true, heard recently there’s a lot of people resigning from consulting. Not sure about other functions since I sit in consulting and it’s a pity to see though these individuals got a better offer somewhere else in terms of job or a masters. Some of these who left recently are actually pretty competent in their work.

Yeah crying does not mean incompetence, just an emotional release. Though she did not go very far indeed with her leaving and the unfair promotion cited by commenters here, so there's still some truth in it. Most pods didn’t do well and we had certain policy constraints set by Global too.
