Boasting cost nothing on internert, especially when anonymously.
Tech is always at the bottom of the food chain in banks, especially local banks. In some banks tech are not even considered banking staff but need to sign separate contract with an independent (usually bank wholly owned) technology legal entity when one move from business unit to tech side.

Pay little bonus but high base to save cost on CPF?

senior associate 7.5k, also 2 months = 15k
avp around 8.5k, bonus = 17k
vp around 10k, bonus = 20k

svp = 23k a month? bonus 5 months? lmfao what? so bonus is 115k for svps? yea ok bro

Private banking or commission type role only. Normal role in local bank, svp and below, no bonus more than 6 months one.

just think about it, let's look at all the local banks and their tech program ( which are incredibly easy to get in )

dbs seed = 5.5k p.m, after 2 yr program, 6.5k
uob tdp = 4.5k p.m, after 1 yr program, 4.8k
ocbc program = 5k p.m ( dunno how long this prog is )

these are all 0-2 years of experience people
Not as easy as you think, very limited headcount actually. Like less than 5-10% of normal school hire.

There's also almost no layoff unless you do stupid nonsense like insult SG flag or say PAP sucks etc. If you work like a normal civilized human being, you'll never get laid off.
Very true. Only downside dbs compare to foreign bank is much more workload, as headcount is always stressed. Like 30%more work. You go to mbfc after 6pm and see which tower/lift lobby got the most food delivery...

It's actually very good if late 30s. In dbs, usually senior svp or entry ed get 300k base, most mid-40 already. Those commission based role like private banker, trader maybe different, but how many such role are there?
