In one of the stat board here, so long theres IT component, services will take charge in writing funding paper with inputs from business. So its a joint effort.

So what is the percentage of agencies managed by GT SVC, and is it increasing or decreasing over the years?

WFH, still kinda flexi to working hour.
Cons
Org is going through re-org and everything changes quickly. Very frustrating to do work as decision from top down is not dismantle quickly causing redundant work effort. Too many long meetings and disruptive to deliverables.
Advice to Management
Stop taking in uniform group retirees

CSG going through a reorg. Really wonder what's CSG direction now. We need CSG to do some security related work in projects, now they get pulled out, what they will focus on ,I wonder

I am simply saying you SVC folks need to be honest and recognize your own mediocrity.

Maybe u want to clarify instead?
To me, GDS is bloated and rushing to cut off the fats. GDS has not deliver high impact projects recently other than AI ( that's also slowing down now)
GDS is a cost center. Basically dependent on agencies to use the app built by GDS. No one use , GDS will suffer. Cannot justify why they are there

GDS folks going to SVC for safe haven? Maybe because your turnover is so high, you have a lot of spare headcount.
If you don't recognize the mediocrity that is service group, then you must still be new, naive or delusional.
|
The pressure in services is much higher , we face biz user, vendor and internal govtech.
What about GDS? GDS busy that time will just say focus on other projects, ask to sign PCM so can prioritize more.
Funny or not.
We don't need GDS la. GDS headcount better well used in services and we control what u should do.

Correction. Agencies pay for the headcount so SVC will not be asked to leave. SVC generates the most for govtech, so u all have bonus each year
Only AR in services may not get renew and will be asked to leave. This is align with CE message
Govtechies in services may also be asked to leave, if they get rating of D and does not pass PIP

Service group is the remnant from the IDA days. IDA has never been the destination of choice for fresh grads, until the rebranding to Govtech and the introduction of divisions like GDS and OGP.
|
What are u saying? So introduction to GDS then fresh grad want to join? Its time for rebranding anyways and after the fake cert incident
Services can only control timeline that much. We have to work with vendor and GDS. We have to manage up down left right
Can launch who wants to cause delay.
But which project doesn't have issue? Don't just blame services la.everyone played a part
