T.K.W.Z | I'm taking a diploma in Aeronautical Engineering. But i definitely won't stop there. My aim is to at least have a degree. Stare at computer screen huh.. The reason I went into this course is to not sit in the office the entire day. I prefer moving around man. Shucks... But there are other jobs as well in *** right? Say if i have a degree majoring in this line of work what type of jobs are there?

ykwwing | Is it really working in the hangar the whole life if you do not have a degree? Because some of the managers in my company started as LAE but they managed to convert to office after some time and now secure high posts. Is it possible for me to obtain a degree if I sign on the 8 years bond as LAE?

ykwwing | My job scope is to plan and schedule maintenance tasks for aircraft. Office hour job and stare at the computer screen for at least 6 hours per day. Are you taking a degree or diploma?

LAE or degree?? Hi guys, I have just graduated from TP and am now working in *** as aircraft planner. Would like to heed some advise if whether I should stay in the company and use their sponsorship to further my part-time degree study in NTU or join either SIAEC or ST Aero for trainee LAE. Previously I was attached to LTTS during my TP SIP for six months and enjoyed most of the hands-on projects taught by the instructors there. However, for the salary and future aspects wise, which path should I take on? |
