dont delay children.
coz it is either now or IVF. IVF dont always work.

suggest u go ahead with first kid during med sch.
if need be, take a leave of absence.

even my yllsom classmates, some took leave of absence during med sch (even though just early twenties). those that took gap year during junior HO/MO also nv regret it.

med is comfortable lah.
again HO is 5k, MO is 10k, reg is 15K, ac/gp is 20K annualised

but as LYK say if you are a woman, quickly go bear children first.
the in laws can take care

i just attended a funeral. served the biggest hospital in the south for 30 years.
zero. i mean like really zero ex colleagues came.

very sad not to have children. your colleagues wont rmb you. your patients wont rmb you.
only your family does.

Why delay marriage.
You should get preggie as a med student.
Can one. Med school is not hard.
Internship year v siong, U can't get pregnant.
As a mopex, U not gonna get into any program carrying a parasite in your abdo
As a young ressie, it's really stressful, U really don't want to be pregnant
if not your next opportunity is when U finish residency or when U quit the race and become a gp or locum.

Good side hustle to have.

Now US bull market. Also S &P 500 always goes up over time unlike STI stagnant at around 3000 points for donkey years.

Important to invest in equities. Think will teach my kids and let them invest from young.
