that makes no sense. probation definition is that you can get let go at any time for underperforming with no payment in lieu or notice. if u need to give notice DURING your probation then wtf is the point of probation? almost all US companies have min 3 month probation to help employees see whether they like the job or not and for employers to see if the employee is useful or useless. TS u must work for some dog trash company. run. |

Usually during probation, the notice period will be short like 2 weeks. Else , those without probation period, will have 1 month notice usually. I did heard of 2 months. Anyways, just serve the minimum 3 months lor. or go till 6 months then jump company |

I wish I could help but honestly what kind of trash company / industry do you work in where you're worried about your recruiter getting his / her commission rather than you getting paid fairly, having a offer in land before you quit your current job and making sure you're not unemployed for a long period of time lol like wtf... also 2 months notice? what?? highest i heard was 1 month, standard is 2 weeks. |

Recruitment Agency's Letter of Intent Hi there, I have a question for people who are familiar with how the recruitment agencies earn their commission after 3 months. My letter of intent with this agency states I cannot resign or leave employment for any reason within 3 months. My separate employment contract with my current Company N states that I have to provide a 2 month notice before probation and 3 months after. I have finished 1 month here. In the event that I resign after finishing 2 months and serve the 2 month notice, I would have been with Company N for at least 4 months right? In this case, will the agency still be able to get their commission after my 3 months or will they not get it because I resigned after only 2 months? Do they really only get their commission if I finish a whole 3 months without resigning? |
