Re-org and culture

Pros
WFH, still kinda flexi to working hour.
Cons
Org is going through re-org and everything changes quickly. Very frustrating to do work as decision from top down is not dismantle quickly causing redundant work effort. Too many long meetings and disruptive to deliverables.
Advice to Management
Stop taking in uniform group retirees

What makes you think agencies can't write the funding papers themselves? They simply punt it to you to do it because you exist. You think they don't have to do any writing themselves to request for a system to be built?
I am simply saying you SVC folks need to be honest and recognize your own mediocrity.

Yes, there's 2k SVC officers and I haven't seen them all. But I have been in the local tech scene for a long time, long enough to be convinced that service group is a horrible place.
GDS folks going to SVC for safe haven? Maybe because your turnover is so high, you have a lot of spare headcount.
If you don't recognize the mediocrity that is service group, then you must still be new, naive or delusional.
