It is poor planning or lack of planning. Not taking into account future resignations is compounding the problem. Failure to plan is planning to fail. |

If the teacher remains in the school in June and July, the school is ordinarily not able to get additional headcount to replace the teacher until the following year. If the teacher leaves by the end of May, the quota is released and a vacancy is created. This could allow a full-time teacher to be posted in before the end of the year, or in some cases, a FAJT to be hired immediately to fill the gap temporarily. It's true that all employees have the right to resign whenever they want, but don't make the school sound like it is just intentionally trying to make the teacher's life hard. |

in sg there is such a thing called the law, and therefore employment contracts. it states one month written notice. this is as simple as meaning u can on 1 of july submit a letter w vjc says 31 july. do u care abt leaving on good terms. if you don’t you can just say I refuse. ur lack of manpower is ur problem. this is one reason why SLs and KPs can gaslight teachers into alll sorts of things - teachersx don’t know their basic rights. |

Students are generally doing well. In fact, too well and there are insufficient uni places for them. Minimum uni qualifications have steadily risen over the years. Literacy levels are also generally high in Sg. |

Reality Reality is very few good teachers. Many bad teachers. Not the other way round unfortunately. Witness a few incidents. |
