Based on past responses on this thread, I think normally when they ask you start G50 process means more or less ‘selected’ liao. G50 is a long process though, don’t think HR will waste time&resources to ask candidate go for that process unless more or less shortlisted for the position.

OP of this. Just an update of my timeline:

Early Feb: First Interview
Early Feb (few days later): Writing assignment
Mid Feb: Second interview
Early March (2 weeks after): HR contacted to submit G50
Mid March: Submitted G50
Early April: Attended vetting session
Mid April (2 weeks after): HR contacted for documents submission + medical declaration form
Early May: Was informed security clearance cleared
End May (about 1 week after): HR called to inform salary package

Will be signing contract either this week or next week. So in total took about 4 months. Clearance took about 8 weeks for me. Good luck to everyone else that’s waiting!
