For those who are shortlisted but still waiting for offer letter, don't worry. I spoke with HR and they are still preparing the offer letter. You will probably receive it either by end of this week or the following week. Just go ahead and attend the networking session tomorrow.

I think you are misunderstanding something.
They send that network invite to everyone to specify date and time that they are available on. The next invite is a meeting invite, those who didn't get offered will not get this invite.
So it doesn't matter whether you said you'll attend or not, not offered people won't get the meeting link so you can't join either way.
