Malaysia didn't ban FRCS
It's none of the hospital in Malaysia is good enuff to be accredited as training site for FRCS

Most subspec in hosp must also run IM wards, like at least cover one week per month

IM is basically just a GP in the hospital.
See everything. Refer everywhere. Coordinate care. Lowest pay.
