Unregistered Powergrid... their scheme seems very attractive at the start... grooming you to be professional engineer etc... the FACT is that how many of the fresh graduates can actually tahan all the way for the cert? Countless of OT, freaking stress work place, political environment with not-so-considerate higher management people.

Thats why lots of fresh grads now are either going to industry which offers higher starting pay. DSTA etc..

Unregistered May I know how is the salary and car allowance like now?

Unregistered Owning a car is super expensive and the amount that is offered by SP definitely is not sufficient. i think as a fresh graduate, probably should not take the job unless you want to get a car and willing to fork out so much $$ to get the COE+car+maintenance+fuel+parking.

(imagine not only do u need to pay back your tuition loan, u still need to own a car. Your money got that much as a fresh grad to do all these meh?)

Seriously, there are many other companies that are offering a better package. Think twice before signing any offer as there may be bonds to it.
