Totally agree! Was a monkey and switched to management. Almost died, still working on soft skills after 6 months.

Not necessarily true. Plenty of highly profitable Fortune 500 companies outsource IT to India. Conversely, plenty of shitty companies with shitty P&L build all kinds of over-engineered GraphQL-Kubernetes-GoLang-MicroServices-MongoDB **** and have FAANG-style algo interviews and are just burning through VC cash. If your core competency is non-IT there's no reason to keep tech in-house for the sake of it.
