With my skillset, it means if I ever get laid off in the future, my job hunt is restricted to a particular job scope. I’m indifferent to my work and has nothing I’m interested in. My work currently feels pretty easy and repetitive also. I’m definitely grateful to have this job and I’m constantly worried I will get laid off someday.

I’m starting this forum because I wonder will people focus on developing skillset for themselves to progress in their career or keep their job for the salary.
