Unregistered BBs are the prestigious names like Goldman and JP. They are in a completely different league from the three local banks and are way more selective in their hiring. It is not uncommon to see a BB paying 50-75% more for the same role vs a local bank AND with better wlb.

You see to get to work for any of the three big local banks is a testimony of a candidate's quality. BB banks' staff are of a higher level of quality given its highly selective criteria. Do not be disheartened just keep improving and one day you may be there.

This is local bank range right. Seem low for international banks.

It depends on the needs of the hiring bank as well as the calibre of the candidate. Is difficult to provide you with a sure answer in this instance. If you are from program with existing bank no point to hop unless from a local bank to a BB bank. However, is a mountain to conquer unless you are able to find favour. Generally the latter prefers to hire from another BB bank for obvious reasons.
