Work in the civil service? For example, DesignSingapore Council: http://www.designsingapore.org/who_we_are/careers.aspx ? I'm sure you background would be useful in other job in govt like MICA, WDA... |

Hermit | Mash, I have no answer for you but I think the graphics design space is too crowded. Anyone can start a small company and take away your clients. So the entry barrier is too low. I support your move out of this and look for something else. But then again, you have to think what other skills you have. | |

A graphic designer looking for a career change I have been in this industry for 7 years and currently working as an Art Director in a small design firm. Recently I have grown weary of the industry as it seems to bring me nowhere (in terms of stability and remuneration) thus I am looking for a career change. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could provide some advice on feasible industries or jobs which I could try it out. Thank you, Aimless soul |
