Unregistered Thinking of quitting the job im working at for 1.5months. Initially wanted to quit on the first week. Told myself to try out for at least a month. But I still dont like what i am doing. mnc company but i just have no interest in doing what i am currently doing.

I have received other calls for interviews while i was working at the mnc but i reject it as it will probably be the similar type of job. Therefore, i want to go for something im passionate about.

"You think your experience so useful?" At least its practical and related experience that can bring values to a company

"1 Degree always better than 10 year experience." You disgust me. Its like telling your boss "BOSS! You should disguard your experiences employee who can bring in revenue and use me instead who got no experiences, require training, gain practical experiences first before I can bring in revenue, BECAUSE I HAVE A DEGREE."

People like you always prove that I was right to outperform degree holder, because I always prove it's what value that brings to the table, rather than just a piece of paper.
Big ego big cannon fairy, cant accept degree holders earn more than him. Think he so useful wanking all day in salarysg forum while degree holders are bettering the world.

That is because you are brainwashed by the "passion" bullshit America was sending out in the 90s. The "Dawn of the New Age Thinking" or "The Secret" and all that nonsense. Look around research papers about passion and success and the results are roughly the same. Being passionate about the job has very little correlation with your success at the job. Only a few miserable percent of people found success with their passions. There are a few reasons.

1. Passion is fluid. You may love your job this week, but hate it next week.
2. People who follow their passion tend to choose jobs with high failure rates. For example, musicians or fashion designers, etc...
3. No correlation between passion and competence. Just because you like to wear brand clothes does not mean you can design and make them.

Findings actually noted that people at the top of their game tend to find success first, then came their passion for their job. So are you able to go through the grind, and learn the skillsets that edges you ahead of your peers? If not, anywhere you go, it will be the same, you lose passion and then want to leave.

I know someone who was retrenched while fighting cancer. Was willing to get another job that was a paycut to make ends meet. WFH wasn't even on the table. His plight makes you sound like a piece of crap.

People don't support losers. It is just survival. No one will stick their necks out and support a loser for fear of being drag down with them. You need to man up and stand on your own two feet. Show the world there is potential in you and that you might win. As long as you can win, support will come flooding in even if you don't need it.

Success has many fathers, failure is an orphan. Happy foxes and sad sacks. Fat cats and starving dogs in this world. This is how the world has always been and always will be.

Why did you choose a contract job in the first place ? You know the consequence right ?

When you have personal problems, it will also affect your work. You should sort out your 'other things' in your life first.

You can't have a comfy admin job which you can work in the comfort of your home and at the same time sort out whatever problem in your life.

Are you undergoing a divorce ? Having mental issues ? Or in debt ?

Sort those out first and don't expect a comfy job that babysit you.
