Roberterop I have a good friend who moved to Singapore recently to become a teacher as the educational system there is top of the notch. I wouldn't leave the USA that easily, but after the comments that I heard from her in the first six months spent there, I'm about to change my mind. She emphasized the importance that Karen screwed into spending valuable time with their toddlers in their weekend and mentioned some great activities similar to the ones that I have seen in Taiwan provided by 親子活動. It's always great to be in such an aspiring environment.

Unregistered Hi all, seems like I can't find much information on childcare/ kindergarten teachers in this forum. What's the market pay for EC teachers in Singapore? For both assistant and main teacher roles

This is Singapore though. Not easy to get a good salary in this industry here.

megan2019 More than that, all the jobs linked with children have a strict policy and there are many important documents and inspections that you must pass. At the same moment, you must have a special program of education and proven methods. Indeed, nowadays all the parents are scared by videos of an unscrupulous nurse who may yell at children or even hit them. Honestly, be careful because now there are baby monitors and gadgets in every house that can follow you. So, if parents wouldn't like your behavior, you may have real problems with the legislation.

megan2019 Of course you need a licence and education in this specialization.
