Unregistered If you don't like UOB then don't join UOB but to say "the bank is in quite a bad state" is incredibly stupid when you know deep down that the people who join this bank don't do much at all and get paid for practically doing nothing.

I don't do much that's why I stay. I got a kid to look after and WFH lets me spend time with my wife more. If you're a tryhard single nerd then sure go join big banks and make $$.

Nope, pay progression is still the same, also 4 days WFH, why should I care when people at DBS WFH 1-2 days a week with some teams not even allowing it and on top of that, weekend deployments?

In the last 2 years I've not worked a single weekend while most DBS employees have done at least 4-5 weekend per quarter.

Being at UOB for 3 years does affect your pay in ways - because UOB is a very poor paymaster. Your pay would have been compressed vis-a-vis if you had been employed at eg the other two local banks. Effect gets compounded the longer you stay.
