What are the different CEP grades? Anyone knows the CEP grades. I know from MX11, MX10, MX9(H), MX9(G), .... what else, till MX 8(?)? MX9 is already superscale? |

yes, age plays a very huge part. the younger you are the less visible the 'progression' might be. however, unfortunately, the young are the impatient and would need such visibility to stay motivated. |

CEP Ranking Process: Step 1: lump all MXOs in the same division Step 2: arrange MXOs in ascending order (No. 1 = highest CEP) Step 3: End Note that getting good performance grade is not the same as having high CEP. For example, a newly promoted MX11 who got promoted in 2011 will automatically gets a performance grade of "C" for 2012 but can still maintain a high CEP of MX9/10. Age also plays a part. An officer who is about to retire is expected to reach his/her CEP. E.g. A MX11 officer age 58 is MX11 will only have a CEP of MX11. |

can someone explain the CEP grading not how it works, as I know that, but who or what guidelines determine your CEP? Is it just set at the whim of your bosses who can set anything they want without basis? I have been working 8 years and I am still MX12 all this while, and I'm wondering if it's because my CEP is MX12 and I'm never going to advance at all. Are there bosses who give their subordinates a higher CEP than themselves? |
