miwashi | I thought the applications go direct to the hr of the hiring organizations? Who sift through hundreds of CVs daily and spend 15 seconds on each one to gauge first impressions? | |

is VOG broken? I apply for a lot of gahment sector jobs, and many of them force you to apply direct through VOG, which usually doesn't seem to allow attachments; ie you fill in everything on a standard limited template which places emphasis on your certs and qualifications rather than your experience. MOE jobs are a good example of this. I noticed over the last 5 years I never got called for any interview that I applied for through this. Could be because my qualifications are not good, but I noticed those interviews I got called for are all those where I applied directly through email, where I attached a CV in word format together with the application form. Has anyone got called for interviews for jobs that they applied for on VOG with no additional CV attachment used? |
