Unregistered Me here, I have been working from home for two months since 1st date and only meet my manager virtually. I think how they train you will depend on what job do you do? There are some softwares that allow video calls and sharing screen such as Skype or Zoom.
I work as a digital marketer, so my manager sent me some helpful video on the internet and called me on Skype me to guide me. That's not so uncomfortable and inconvenience.

Unregistered for myself im just a fresh grad with little workplace experience, but im learning well virtually and enjoy wfh. the pay is gd too so i guess i got a pretty nice deal

The consolation is im a experienced hire with 5 years in the industry i am regulating. Still would have preferred starting in the office. The inability to bond with new colleagues are the biggest draw back to me.
