new grad from sim here. I am definitely well below my local uni peers in both job opportunities and starting salary.

Anecdotally, my local uni friends in biz/finance are getting 5.5-6k for their first job. We SIMs will settle for 2k - really we'd be glad just to have a job, be it wiping tables or cleaning toilets.

Sucks to be the bottom of society, but it is what it is.

Prop trading. Currently earning 10k to 50k SGD per month doing prop trading. SIM-UOL FCH.

currently working in small size MNC. at least 4-5 colleagues from SIM. finance department doing accounting. easy 5-6 k for juniors
