This question is so vague, you should read more of this forum to get a sensing. But here are some figures, coming from a business grad: Public service range: 3k - 5k (see below) Ministry: 3.5 - 4.5k SB: 3k - 5k Private sector range: 2.5k - 13k (see below) Mid-tier (non big 4) audit firms 2.5-2.7k Direct hires in banks 3.3-3.5k Management Associate Programmes 3.8 - 5.5k Consulting 6-7k Investment Banking 9-12k The above figures are for fresh grads from local uni, based on published figures and also general sensing from friends and career office. |

My company HR pay range scale from few years ago is still fresh grad 3.5k to 3.8k Dunno why fresh grad from last year report they getting up to 4.5k. |

Only can give info about software engineering since ive gotten offers / hearsay from friends govt: 3.5-5 private: 3.5-7.5 lower tier basically the same, go where also not much diff. the difference shows itself at higher tier companies. not including ib etc... |

Unregistered | This is very general, but civil servants are at around the 65-70th percentile among local uni grads. If you take into account the entire workforce (incl. non-uni grads), civil servants are at around the 85-90th percentile. Above civil servants are doctors, lawyers, bankers, management consultants and some MNCs. | |

For local U grads, how well are civil servants paid compared with the private sector In terms of salary, roughly what percentile would civil servants be at for local uni grads (NUS/NTU/SMU)? Is 70th percentile a good estimate? |
