Unregistered Firstly, it doesn't matter whether you are an English teacher or not. This is immaterial, lest you opine that your profession helps you to assert yourself. Posters here are not your students. Get this right.

Unregistered After reading these posts and much deliberation, i have decided NOT to go for a year-long sabbatical. A re-prioritisation in office work will be more effective in nipping the problem in the bud. The other considerations are, firstly, i do not need to up-skill at this juncture. Secondly, i do not want to kill the goose which is laying golden eggs. Thank u everyone for your contributions.

Unregistered Took a break from teaching because it didnt work out. Used the resting time to pick up new skills to try out new careers
