Unregistered | just like in bank trading desks, i believe soccer traders will use various techniques to hedge the sgpools' risk by buying / selling from the upstream "aggregators" (i'm not sure of the industry term). |

Trading in Soccer ? That's new to me. Do tell me more. I always thought they dont trade but did the spread odds calculation thing. ie bid/ask spread, then when the volume is too huge, farm it out to the other organisation which accepts these bigger bets. Something akin to insurance. Anyway, to me, it is not trading but gambling. Some might argue that they are the same, but i think the nature of the "market" are very differently as the bet follows a model with limited outcome ( win / lose or draw) and there is no organic growth in soccer trading. |
