MrTan Hello here.. I have around 6+years of working experience as manufacturing engineer in private sector drawing around 5.3k.. If I were to switch into SB or ministry, where is the most appropriate place for me? And what pay range and job title can I expect?

yes indeed, but these are minorities.. just look around yourself, a fresh grad drawing 3.5k with 15 to 16 months package is already above average

Sorry I misread earlier. I think one would get much much higher in the private sector with 1 yr exp and NS. Every year there will be stats released stating the fresh grads of many degrees starting at 5 to 6k a month. Just Google it.

Should be if normal general MX scheme. I worked in private 1.5 yrs + NS, got 3.7k starting under mx13.
