Unregistered I benefited from the 1G - 2G PAP leaders, back then education good, Singaporeans can go uni, and we got good jobs. We serve NS as bros with our fellow Malay and Indian Singaporeans happy, cause we know we defending our family.

Today, I see news of CECA, I see news of discrimination in jobs.

My son, next time already lose 2 years and need serve reservist NOT Enough, he still need to fight job discrimination caused by CECA.
His Pink IC, PR convert can get without serving NS.

He next time serve NS, I don't know he defending who when half of SG not even our own ppl.

Yeah it doesn't but would say it helped me with getting the job - considering the competition.

Unregistered That is what the folks in the private sector love to think. But it is not true. Far from it.

My friend who is a Manager in the maritime industry was only offered a senior exec position when he applied for a position at my Ministry HQ. From 8K to around 4-5K. And that was provided he cleared through all the subsequent interviews.

Didnt proceed further.
