I'm more worried about the perception than the pay at this point.. getting the right fit job is more crucial right now |

wintrysun | i see.. what if its like more than 6 months.. should i still leave it out? i tot there is this perception where you are considered less employable if companies think you can't get a job for more than 6 months?

Unregistered | It’s the same issue when u are unemployed..do u accept a significant paycut in search of a higher paying one? Prospective employer will ask you what’s yr last drawn pay. How do u justify to them to match yr previous (higher) pay? Or should u simply stay unemployed to maintain yr expected pay, of course provided u can support yrself in the meantime?

Unregistered | If permanent role, better to leave out, if contract just put inside and indicate that it was contract.

is it better to appear unemployed by leaving out work experience or show you are job so do HR prefer (or less likely to chuck my resume out) if i include short term work experiences (few months) or leave them out and appeared to be unemployed for months? both are soo hard to justify, sigh |
