Unregistered Don't study finance, go study engineering. There's enough people trying to get into Banking & Finance industry, while no one wants to do engineering work anymore.

Requesting Advice with Regards to Finance Sector

Hi all,

I've just graduated from poly with Dip. in Accounting & Finance.
Will be serving my 2years of NS, then probably taking up a finance related degree in SIM (Since I doubt SMU will take me )

I intend to go into the finance industry upon completion of my degree,
But I'm not really sure which specific path would suit me best (with regards to jobscope & renumeration).

I know that they're many different paths, like Investment Bankers, Fund Managers, Financial Planners etc., but what they're about and all, is something which I really do not know much about.

So, I'd appreciate it if you guys could enlighten me about the jobscopes, the different pros & cons, the renumeration, and anything else that would be useful!
