Unregistered Is a CEP of Grade 8 considered decent? I heard PSLP officers have CEPs of Grade 7.

Divisional director will propose at the executive committee meeting (of course with all the paperwork done before that), and PS(es) will endorse.

Absolutely possible for older officers to up their CEP, if PS is agreeable.

Having said that, many proposed upgrades are not supported. Because not to forget, the world doesn't only revolve around PS and your div dir. There are also many other div dir who are pushing for their own officers. DSes sit in too. Most importantly, a limited quota of sorts. I mean, if everyone has a high CEP, it is going to result in an HR issue down the road, without elaborating on the intertwining process here.

(of course they can be wrong but u know what i mean...)

Unregistered so should they decide to hire, that first impression will make-do on someone's CEP?

Unregistered Any HR expert can share? I'm 40 this yr and has always been in admin position, currently MX 14. My RO reveal that my CEP is MX 13i. I know usually RO will project CEP 2 grades above the current. In my case, would i still be able to get any more promotion since mine is only 1 grade above the current?

Grateful for any HR insights, thanks in advance.

Unregistered Generally everyone enters with a default CEP about 2 grades above your entry grade. But if you perform well.. then they will initiate a raise of cep but need strong justifications..

Unregistered By the panel, but RO must initiate a raise of CEP and state the justifications in doing so.

Who determines CEP

Helle, does anyone know how is CEP determined in the Ministries? I heard that CEP is determined at the point of hiring and also it is determine by reporting officer?

Is CEP determined only by reporting officer instead of the ranking panel?
