Procurem is like the opposite of sales. The job can be quantified by the savings u achieve. Not sure bout engineering. I dun think most engineering jobs can say the same Can anyone share with me about black belt, after getting cert, how many projects I hv to undertake to be deem as an expert? I m female, personally dunno any female black belters Seems black belt jobs are male dominated My edu history Engineering dip fr local poly Business degree fr overseas. Planning black belt by 2012? Am I late? |

Go for black belt (go for full six sigma certification). If i am an employer looking at improving my supply chain etc, i will hire and pay more to someone with master black belt than a MBA grad. Simple, black belter can deliver what I want. However, doing MBA at some point should be under your consideration probably in a few years times after six sigma. |

Need advise on my mid career Strategic procurem n commodity mgmt in semicon 30 yo 7 yrs exp in mncs at 93k annual inc bonus n aws Deg in biz Dip in engg Thinking of getting green n black belt. Any advice if this should help me move up to 120/pa in 2 years when i switch co? Or is mba an option? |
