The Parc Komo Condo

It looks like CEL, the property branch of Chip Eng Seng Corporation, will be launching Parc Komo soon. This is a low-rise freehold project that will arise on the site of the former Changi Gardens at the corner of Upper Changi Road North and Jalan Mariam.

If the name doesn't ring a bell, there is good reason for it. The Parc Komo condo is in the far east corner of Singapore, in a quiet estate comprising mainly low-rise landed houses. So it should suit those looking for a more peaceful and laid-back environment, away from high-rises, and city living.

The Parc Komo site is actually relatively large for a freehold development, and will comprise 276 apartments, as well as some shops. The retail component is a legacy from its Changi Gardens days, when a row of shops the development served the needs of the neighbourhood as well as the residents here.

The Parc Komo showflat is not ready for viewing yet, as the project is still pending approval from the authorities. So the floor plans and other details are not available yet either, and we will have to wait for further information on that. Sales could possibly start in April or May 2019.

Anyway what we do know at this point are the locational attributes. Like the fact that the nearest MRT station from Parc Komo is the Tampines East station on the Downtown line. It takes about 4 to 5 bus-stops to get there. And the fact that Tampines Town Centre, Changi Airport and Changi Business Park are about 5 to 10 minutes drive away, so it isn't exactly terribly far from amenities.
