A promise is a promise. Even if one hand is gone, as long as the company wants you, you must work for them with the other hand.

Of course not!
Just tell them that you are injuried and cant take up the offer.

Hi All,

Is it ok to reject the job which Ive accepted verbally? My reason is that I got injured nearing to the job start date :'(
