Seletar Airport New Passenger Terminal Building To Be Up By 2018 The design is also part of endeavors to alleviate pressure on the incessantly busy Changi Airport. As division of the advanced and vast Seletar Aerospace Park (SAP), the recent PTB will have better facilities and conveniences and it importantly gain ordinary aviation activities at the eastern sidelong of the airport. A groundbreaking Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) will be up for construction at Seletar Airport, Civil Authority (CAAS) as declared on May 19. This is to accommodate the growth in air traffic and maximise efficiency in air travel functions. As soon as the brand-new PTB is up and running, the current operations at passenger terminal on Seletar Airport western side will cease. The new incoming terminal is set to be realized by closing of 2018 and the structure for the new PTB is set to start October this year after the tender for the construction was issued last May 18.
