**CC and Baker McKenzie are JLVs with their Singapore subsidiaries so they’re basically having their cake and eating it.

Also a good chance to ask CC, A&O and Latham how English-style TCs work - rather than complain about Singapore firms lowballing trainees why not see what else is out there?

I work for a small law firm. We received multiple calls from an individual (like once a week foe 4 weeks straight until my boss got fed up and told him to stick it) who purported to be affiliated with this exercise... they tried to sell us a branding/pr package costing $20+k so as to increase our chances of being featured on this list.

Honestly thought we were being scammed. Don't know if we were, but we very much prefer to have that 20K in our pockets than in someone else's pockets.
