Mrling My Agent just update me The Gateway Cambodia will be available to Singapore buyers end the months. The Gateway Cambodia residential start at USD $12xK and office start at $20xK. Location is prime beside Malaysian own Parkson shopping mall and opposite Cambodia prime minister office. The Gateway At Cambodia also come with gaurantee rental return I think. I think it is 6 to 8% per annum for fist 2 years. Agent was saying Cambodia has one of the highest rental return in emerging market. Anyone have experience owning a property in Cambodia to share? It is true of such high rental?

Cambodia Real Estate Investment

Recently my friends and I have being expose to this new market. We have attended a few of the developer seminar their their properties launch in Phnom Penh. Singapore developer Oxley seem active in this market. Oxley have fully sold out its first project call The Bridge at Cambodia with residential and SOHO sitting above a shopping mall. The Bridge location is in the Embassy area where Cambodian authority is currently allowing more shopping and hotel to be built in the same area. Oxley has fully sold out the residential blocks in The Bridge. This project is left with a few SOHO now. The other Oxley project which is launch in august interest my friends a lot. This is The Peak Cambodia at Phnom Penh central about 100 meter from The Bridge location. The peak has Shangri-la in the same development thus sales price is higher then The Bridge. So far I think about 50% of tower 1 is sold. Our agent just call us last weekend to share another new project name is The Gateway Cambodia at Phnom Penh business district near Phnom Penh railway station. The Gateway at Cambodia central will have having 571 residential apartment and 299 offices. We are waiting to see what is the launch price. What attracted us to look at this market is that Cambodia is getting a lot of foreign investments. There is a lot of potential. The investment are all freehold mostly located in super prime location and current rental yield in this part of the world is one of the best. Worth exploring putting a bit of your investment here. It may grow into your biggest tree in the long term.
