i don't know about the other big 4 or other lines of service. so I can't speak for the others.

as far as i know, most of my peers have at least a second upper and some have even attained magna cum laude(shall not name names). Its probably not as selective as FO roles in banking but its also not a walk in a park to get an offer with the big 4 corp tax.

Well' i hope this put things into perspective.
Hi, may I ask how life in Big 4 Corp Tax is like? Also, how is the career progression & exit opportunities like as compared to Big 4 Audit? Thank you.

When you start looking for a job and don’t know exactly what you want to do, the best advice is to try different options. Think about all the spheres you may work with your degrees and choose the ones which are most appealing at the first glance. Then, prepare the proper application documents and go ahead. There are lots of online sources to help you create competitive resume and other docs, such as ://.businessnewsdaily.com/3207-resume-writing-tips.html, ://craftresumes.com/. I’ve read tons of articles before I made a really good ones.

Not really teekam. Their usual way of hiring is let's say they have 50 vacancies, they will offer about 80-100 people usually ranking them by academics & some qualitative factors.

Usually the top 20% people are not interested in big 4, they will just reject straight away. The remaining some will just drag & hope for other better offers outside big4 to come along. Slowly this group will also reject until the remaining 50 people are the ones that accept & confirm start work.

Base on my observation big4 usually gets the 50 to 70 percentile (between average & above average) of any cohort of fresh grads from the local uni. Below average they not interested, too good the candidates themself not interested.

Sometimes if too many vacancies can, but definitely not normal. Deloitte & EY usually standards lower, but PWC & KPMG I don't think they will accept pass only.

I have thought about joining the Big 4 but the incentives are really bad. Any other suggestions?
