Don't go work. The starting pay is sh*t and it doesn't provide enough exposure. I would say if you study SIM, chances are it will be quite hard to get accepted into the Big 4 audit firms. If you have the money, go overseas to study. If not, you may want to try your luck and appeal your way through local uni. Your last option will be to go to SIM and work your ass off (ie. do alot of internships to boost your resume). Good luck! |

Final Year in Polytechnic Hi all , I'm currently in my final year in Ngee Ann Accountancy with a cumulative GPA of 3.5. Therefore, it is unlike for me to qualify for a position in local U for a business degree. Any advices on where should I go if I would like to work in the accounting field in future. Eg.
