Resume format for career changer: functional or chronological? Some recommend a functional format since it is not important to show career progression over time, and to emphasize the transferable skills applicable to the job. But other hiring managers recommend sticking to chronological format to avoid being seen as a job hopper trying to hide time gaps between employment intentionally. Been seeing different advice on the Web. Any comment, advice or experience with this? |
