Even if the start date doesn't fit your schedule (or has past), you can just write in and ask if they are looking for interns during the period that you are available. Employers appreciate such initiative and it shows your interest in them.

For HR, most private sector companies aren't that picky. Most wouldn't mind SIM grads. Here's some that you can try:

Hi, i m from SIM RMIT,taking BSC business management ( Hr specialisation )

May i know what are some realistic companies to intern in? I know that many companies will only take in students from NTU NUS SMU, so may i know wheres the best place to source for internship? other than my school recruitment portal?
