Unregistered | this thread is making me nervous. Is it really that bad? The pay and workload sound rough. I don’t want to end up regretting my choice.

Unregistered | Not uncommon.. I'm stuck in JG 13 for almost 10 years. I don't see myself getting promoted anytime soon in the next 5 years cos I have 3 more seniors above me that's need to be promoted first.

Unregistered | Yup for singhealth is correct. Highest I come across is JG17. My boss is JG17 with PhD.

The workload is insane. We’re expected to manage prescriptions, counsel patients, and handle administrative duties, often without enough staff. The pressure is immense, but the compensation doesn’t match up. It’s like they expect us to be superhuman. And don’t get me started on the night shifts and weekend duties. Our personal lives suffer, but does the pay reflect the sacrifices? |

Unregistered | That’s very sad. Especially as it’s only a small increment. Singhealth promotion is much slower

Unregistered | In singhealth JG14 is a senior. I have come across someone only reaching JG14 at age 50.
