Even for "specialised" or "premium" schemes like teaching, the MX11 equivalent C grade is also less than 2 months for many years already. Want 2 months must get C+ and above

Some ministries or SB simply pay out higher PB I guess...

Secondment and performance

Hi, i am considering secondment opportunities for exposure as i have been doing the same job for few years now. I understand there is no change in pay and grade for secondment, but i think at least it allows me the chance to try new job scope before maybe eventually deciding to join the secondment agency.

I am performing very well in my current job. I'm worried the secondment may affect my performance gradings and possible promotion in the future. Understand performance is likely to be decided by the secondment agency. Will they give secondment officers lower performance or ranking since i'm not considered their staff? Or will my own agency give me lower since i'm seconded and not so visible anymore? Does it matter when i go for secondment?

For those new to the public service, this bonus amount is relevant only to staff in ministries, i.e. statutory boards are excluded as they have separate pay schemes and bonus structures.

Also, higher levels get more bonus for the same appraisal grade, so staff who are junior to you (lower MX levels, e.g. MX 13, 12, 11) would get less in terms of months of pay even if you both got the same grade, while those senior to you would get more months for the same grade (MX10 and above).

Does anyone know if bonuses for those in non-graduate schemes are lower than bonuses for MX staff, at the same appraisal grades?
Sorry…..u kenna C- is it? C for MX11 is 2 months
