But I've got to move overseas for 2 years to a private sector job (my wife is posted overseas). Needless to say, I should try to get a taste of the private sector job if i can first. And I feel my tech skills have not been growing as fast as those in the private sector since i got into DSO.

Hopefully, jumping to the private sector for maybe 5 years will give me the experience and big pay jump when i eventually re-enter public

I am. But I wanna know how staff in the other divisions feel about their work!

And also to know whether it is worthwhile to jump over to DSTA.... I enjoy management work more, but im not ready to go into a job that is about paperwork everyday. Unless it includes regular business trips and overseas meetings with defence contractors, tech demos etc

Anyone have any experience with this company and would like to share their thoughts?

How is their work different from DSTA and how to choose between the two companies?

Paywise I heard the starting for fresh grads in DSO is a little bit higher
