Agree above. Most analyst job is OJT and as long as you convince company that you are logical, resourceful and hardworking, I don't think companies will really care too much about what you majored in uni.

Likely more to do with your lousy interview performance if you keep getting rejected. Most of the time you don’t apply what you learn in school in jobs anyway, so they are more looking for attitude, logical thinking and potential.

What can Economics graduate do?

I have recently graduated with a BA from NUS majoring in Economics. I've spent the last 6 months applying and looking for entry level jobs (including contract positions) with Banks and non-banks coy, yet all i get are rejections. Which led me to wonder, what can an Economics graduate do? Suggestions anyone?
