If you are doing well in other areas / previous years, taking on this additional duty is likely to do you well, even if you're not the main IC (could even act as a tie-breaker sometimes).

If you're not doing well, then you're probably just nominated to make up the head count.

Well, I know of a KP in charge of overseas trips going around telling the young officers who are arrowed that the Principal wants them to go because it will help boost their professional learning and progression.

Most if not all schools abhor disloyal pigs.
The same applies in the HQ.

Its a charade. Many KPs have no system thinking abilities. This is from someone ie myself who has worked in HQ and seen it all. Many schools reward loyal dogs and somehow Supts love it too.

For SH it is very rare to fail as the school/branch will often provide the candidate with training and support to pass the interview. Tinkermaster Acting subject heads are not allowed in the ranking panel as they cannot sign off under the legitimate title. But before that, they would have given all their feedback to the HOD/VP in charge of the areas.

Tinkermaster Only those promoted into the SEO grades will be invited. All GEO promotions are handled by the school. Shake hand, give you cert.. announce to school, everyone clapped.
