Alot of tech job now are contractual in nature. Cause there is just too many fakes and techie who can't do the job. Contract is just a easy way to justify termination. Enjoy. |

Aussie uni almost as bad as private uni. I suggest taking A levels and applying for Oxbridge. |

What do you mean by “how would it look” ? Sure it’s not a prestigious grad programme but a contract role is just like any other role out there in the market. The only kicker here is to make sure the contract terms are in your favor (short notice period and no non-compete forms) |

Just apply. If the one hiring you view overseas university as more prestigious than local, then you have advantage. If the one hiring you is a local university graduate who can't afford overseas experience and also wonder why you would come back to local, then you have disadvantage. Resume / education is just to get you pass the shortlist. Everything else depends on luck and fate. Some see behavioral. Some see potential. Some see personality. Some see spark. Some see the same kind and only hire same kind. |

Contract job How would a 1 year contract job (Data Scientist) in a bank look on a resume? I graduated from an overseas university on a scholarship and have been working overseas for a year but would like to return to Singapore. Any comments would be much appreciated! |
