Unregistered You only got diploma.. the starting salary is quite standard at 1600.. and if you are a guy who completed NS.. then will get extra 200 for your 2 silly years of service in SAF...
So 1800 is the normal deal... this has remained unchanged since 10 years ago.. this is the same starting pay for us diploma holders..
My advice is to obtain at least a degree to have better prospect in this life.. If not, sometimes when diploma holders tries to job hop.. some might even get pay cut becos HR use the lack of education against you.. Usually they try to reset you to the basic starting salary.. Gd luck...
BTW, be practical...you should aim to work in companies that pay better $$... unless you are lazy.. just want a easy life and doesn't mind low salary or you simply super enjoy working in semicon production line becos of passion... which is quite impossible right?? Better act fast whatever that you want to do.. The longer you stay.. the harder it is to get out..

Hi all,

I am currently working as new employee as semicon with my diaploma in mechatronic. my pay is 1800 with no ot and office hour.

Should I change to other job or other semicon with better pay and with lots of ot?
