Should i take ntu masters in accounting?

I am in my early 30s. and after I graduated from uni when i was 22, i didnt think so much. back then I needed money (I was from a poor family) so I just took whatever jobs that came along. It was operations in financial industry.
There aren't many ops jobs left in SG. So when I try to change to another function, e.g. compliance, credit analyst, etc employers would say that they would rather hire a fresh grad for a fresh grad position.
When I apply for a 3-4yrs of experience in compliance positions, there already many people with 3-4yrs of experience in full time compliance. so employers will choose them
I wanted to change function in financial industry, dont mind fresh grad pay but employers wont hire because they wont pay you lesser than your last drawn because they had experience before that they pay lesser than the last drawn for the person, the person dont feel very satisfied and find another job 2-3 months later.

I just want to find a job. Alternatively, i think i can take a masters in accounting so that i am able to find jobs. I dont know what i am aiming for or getting myself into if i take master in accounting. i dont know if i would experience the same situation or not if i have a masters degree in accounting.

I applied for the PCP programme into accounting but my application was uncessful.

Any kind souls able to advise? Thanks!
