Unregistered to your generation possible jiakliaobee and you probably got a civil service job because you can't qualify for private.

To me I find civil service attractive due to its stability and decently good pay. But I do agree that I notice peers around me prefer to work for private.

General perception of those working in civil service

On top of money, what's really important to me is how others see me and my job. I was wondering how people generally perceive those who work in the civil service (ministries/stat boards). Is it a job that makes your relatives at Chinese New Year internally go "Wow, I wish I had his job!"? 😂
